Every record in Sentry View carries coordinates, category, date of the event, confidence level, cited source, estimated area of influence and date of last verification. When that verification expires, the record is marked as pending reassessment instead of continuing to display as current.
Information is only useful when you can see its location, its origin, its reliability and its validity.

Reports are recorded by the Sentry View team from first-hand observation, cited external sources or information received through direct contact. Each one states where it came from.
Confirmed, probable or unverified — a rumour is never presented as a fact.
